Collagen has been used successfully for over several decades to improve depressions or wrinkles in the skin. It has a very low risk profile making it very safe to use. It typically lasts in the skin 3 to 6 months depending on its injection site. A skin test is required before treatment. COSMOPLAST Cosmoplast is an injectable human matrix implant, derived from donor tissues that has undergone very careful screening and testing. Cosmoplast is a wonderful alternative for those individuals who may be sensitive or allergic to Collagen. Because it contains intact collagen fibrils, elastic network, and proteoglycans similar to your own skin, it may last for 3 to 6 months depending on its injection site.
